I have 2 jobs: Gardener Educator for Kalamazoo in Bloom and Resident Sound Board Operator at Farmers Alley Theatre

What is your favorite spot in Eastside?

My garden. I transformed most of my property from grass covered to perennial covered.

What is your favorite thing about Eastside?

It is an old neighborhood, close to town, with affordable housing and a cross section of all people.

List a few of your hobbies.

• Every craft known

• Reduce - reuse - recycle

• Repurposing used jeans into bags for groceries. Last year I gave 70 to Loaves and Fishes for those who have to walk or ride the bus for groceries.

What animal matches your personality and why?

Never thought of an animal to fit my personality. I am a loner - like a feral cat scratching out existence since I am poor, yet like a bumblebee because I want to visit every flower and spread love and kindness everywhere I go.
