Construction on Parkview Avenue will begin on Monday, March 21 as a coordinated infrastructure project gets underway between Tamsin Avenue and Oakland Drive. The project will include critical water infrastructure upgrades, reconstruction of the roadway, and non-motorized improvements.

A project to improve safety and calm traffic on Westnedge Avenue and Park Street is scheduled to start this weekend with the installation of new and improved pedestrian crossings followed by the addition of speed radar signs later in November. Planned traffic calming improvements for Westnedge and Park are now available for community review! Work will start this Fall in the Northside neighborhood with new crosswalks and speed radar signs and continue south to Crosstown Parkway in 2022 with right-sized vehicle lanes, new bike lanes, additional on-street parking, and more new crosswalks (with public art).
